Pasture Raised Pork

Our pigs are raised on pasture, where they benefit from plenty of activity, natural foraging, and the freedom to root. They enjoy a spacious ¾-acre paddock in a wooded lot, which allows them to forage for their own food and engage in natural behaviors. In addition to their pasture diet, they are fed a high-quality, non-medicated feed, ensuring minimal to no antibiotic use in their care. This approach promotes both their health and the quality of the meat they produce.

We Raise idaho pasture

The Idaho Pasture Pig is a relatively new breed, originating in 2006. These medium-sized hogs have a slightly longer growth period, typically reaching full maturity at 10 to 12 months. This extended growth time is due to the breed’s ability to process grasses more efficiently, making it a crucial part of their diet. While they take a bit longer to mature, this trait allows for reduced grain usage and supports a more natural, forage-based diet, ultimately contributing to their health and the flavor of the meat.
